Mr Akali graduated from Medical school over 19 years ago and completed his Basic Surgical training in 1996 from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He has undertaken extensive Plastic Surgery training in International acclaimed units in Glasgow, London, Leeds, Chelmsford and Liverpool in a broad range of Plastic & Cosmetic surgery procedures.

In addition to his specialist plastic surgery training Mr Akali also undertook the following fellowships:
1) Full time Research in Plastic Surgery at University College London.
2) Microsurgery & Breast reconstruction at St Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery & Burns, Chelmsford.
3) Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at Liverpool.

Mr Akali is currently a Consultant in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Castle Hill Hospital, Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Personal profile:

A keen table tennis player with ardent interest in Football, Lawn tennis and Golf.
He is widely read and enjoys’ Contemporary & Classical English and Christian literature.
