Background Information 
Professional profile:
I trained in general surgery in the 1960s and 70s with a broad based training in general surgery including urology and vascular.

I upgraded my in modern surgical techniques e.g. laparoscopic surgery, gastro intestinal stapling etc.

I have a special interest in vascular, gastrointestinal surgery and endoscopy.

I have worked as a consultant for the last 25 years, eleven of these working in Zambia (north Rhodesia) in MINE Hospitals. I am keen on teaching college training of trainee surgeons in the NHS.
Personal profile:
I enjoy travelling and visting historical sites of the world.

I am also a keen golfer and am a member of Doncaster Golf Club and Humberside Medical Golf Society and a keen angler.

I am ex-president of the Lions Club of Mufulira, Zambia.
