Senior Occupational therapist
Julie works with the in-patient therapy team dealing with a variety of post operative conditions but specialises in orthopaedics. She has recently set up a pre-assessment service offering education and advice to patients undergoing hip replacement surgery. It is hoped that through this pre-operative education session and the opportunity Julie has to fully assess patients prior to surgery, we will be able to ensure timely but safe discharges from the ward.
