Professional profile:
I qualified with honours from Edinburgh University Medical School in 1982 and continued working in medicine and surgery in Edinburgh before passing MRCP examinations in 1985. I spent three years in research and completed an MD thesis in Leeds before going on to train in radiology in Bristol with further specialist experience of cardiac imaging in Auckland, New Zealand. I am involved in all aspects of cardiovascular imaging and vascular interventional radiology.

I act as Head of Training for radiology in East Yorkshire and as an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists. I have been the radiology representative for the BUPA Medical Advisory Committee for the last 5 years.
Personal profile:
I live in Hessle and am married with three children.
I am a keen musician, gardener and MG car enthusiast.
