New technology provides Sound Shock Wave Therapy for Golfers Elbow, Tennis Elbow, Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fascitis. This new treatment approved by NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) is now available in Yorkshire. Sound waves stimulate healing for many physical disorders, with no anaesthetic, surgery or medication needed.

A new autism diagnostic service has been launched at Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital: "HERADS" - Hull & East Riding Autism Diagnostic Service' is available for Children & Adolescents aged between 5-19 years from across the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region.
