Mr Booty was so impressed by his experience at the hospital that he later wrote a letter of thanks to the hospital. Mr Booty wrote: "The care and attention you showed, not only to me but my wife too, was fantastic from the moment we got there."
Mr Booty came into the hospital as a day patient and, as a result, had contact with different members of staff and complimented all of them, "I was really nervous on the day, but your staff were lovely, a big thank you goes to Mr H. Plaha, his team, the anaesthetist and physiotherapist, the nurses who looked after me in my room, the tea lady and the porter. They all made me feel calm."
As Mr Booty was leaving the hospital he fed back to the hospital director about his experience saying "We were treated with great respect and dignity which was very much appreciated. The staff in your hospital are a credit to you."
