Stephen Burgess qualified at the Welsh National School of Medicine. He worked as a registrar in Chester and Liverpool, and as a senior registrar at hospitals in Cardiff and Bangor. Mr Burgess is trained in colposcopy and he developed an interest in gynaecological oncology while working in Cardiff and Liverpool.
