Dr Honer Kadr is a consultant cardiologist at Spire Hartswood private hospital in Brentwood, Essex and Spire Roding private hospital, Redbridge, also in Essex. He offers private cardiology care in our clean and comfortable hospitals.
Dr Honer Kadr has extensive experience in all aspects of general cardiology, specifically in the area of ischaemic heart disease, ie angina and heart failure. Over the past 15 years, Dr Kadr has been involved in extensive multi-centre, multi-national research programs, researching different areas of cardio-vascular medicine, the results of which has shaped our current practice in treating these heart conditions.
Dr Kadr has a broad cardiological practice at Barking Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust including both clinical and investigational services, covering non-invasive tests, ie echocardiograms, all modalities of cardiac monitors and exercise tests. Dr Honer Kadr performs regular weekly sessions of cardiac catheterisations and coronary angiograms.
Dr Honer Kadr has set up various cardiac services, including rapid access chest pain and post myocardial infarction (MI) clinics in the Trust, which have proved to be a success for early assessment of patients with these cardiac conditions.
Dr Kadr is in charge of a large research unit conducting research on different aspects of cardiology.
