Professional profile:

As every person is different I endeavor at all times to tailor the care I provide to meet he needs of each individual. This entails listening patiently, detailed examination  followed by simple and clear discussion of treatment options and  guidance towards reaching a treatment decision that would be the most appropriate for them.

I had extensive training Moorfields Eye Hospital and gained expertise in the management of the various eye conditions in which I offer treatment. These include Cataracts surgery, early detection and treatment of Glaucoma, Glaucoma surgery, Age related Macular Degeneration. Treatment for squints in children and in adults. Eyelid surgery. Treatment of sore or watery eyes.

Personal profile:

In my spare time I love to dance, sing and listen to music and musical theatre and cooking. I treasure the time I spend with my family and we love skiing and travelling.

I also have a keen interest in forming teaching links with eye departments in less privileged communities and one of such links is the Vision 2020 links programme between the Royal Free Hospital and Mulago Hospital in Uganda. I have visited Uganda twice in the past 2 years and my department has hosted colleagues from Uganda who came over to learn in the freezing winter of November 2010.
