Professional profile:
Mr. Reay-Jones qualifed in 1990 from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School London and passed the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in 1995. His specialist registrar training was on the North Thames West rotation, passing the Intercollegiate Speciality examination in 2001 before obtaining his CCST in General Surgery.

His final six months training was spent at St. Marks Hospital, Harrow the regional and national UK referral centre for complicated colorectal disease.

Mr. Reay-Jones was recently appointed as Consultant General Surgeon with specialist interest in Coloprctology at the QEII Hospital, Welwyn Garden City. His NHS practice reflects his subspeciality training in colopproctology with the emphasis on outpatient consultation being on the full range of coloproctological disorders. In addition he performs gastrointestinal endoscopy contributing to the one-stop rectal bleeding service. He provides a broad general surgical service as part of the emergency on-call rota.
