Professional profile:
Mr Sood undertook higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), Stanmore. He was appointed as Lecturer to the Professional Unit where he further developed his interest in hip and knee surgery.During that time he trained in the technique of autologous cartilage transplantation.

Mr Sood undertook further higher subspeciality training as a Fellow in Hip and Knee surgery, both in the UK, and in two centres of excellence in North America (Mayo Clinic, Minnesota and Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto). He has also trained in hand surgery
Personal profile:
I am married with a young family. I am a keen drummer and also enjoy spending significant amounts of time (and money) maintaining my 1978 Fiat Spider 124 Pininfarina.
