Professional profile:
I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a specialist interest in vitreo retinal diseases.

I graduated from Trinity Medical School, Dublin in 1991with honours in surgery. I started Ophthalmology in 1994 in the UK.

I completed my higher surgical training in ophthalmology on the West Midland rotation. This was followed by three fellowships in vitreo-retinal surgery and medical retina at the Oxford Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Personal profile:
I enjoy playing all sports but my passion is tennis. I love travelling and meeting people of all races and nationalities.

I am keen to be more involved in developing the ophthalmic services of developing countries.
