Professional profile:
I qualified in medicine at the University of Dundee in 1976. My post-graduate training in general surgery, otolaryngology and head & neck surgery took place at Dundee, Bradford, Bristol and Leeds Teaching Hospitals. I became fully accredited in Otolaryngology and head & neck surgery in 1988.

I have been a consultant ENT surgeon at Luton & Dunstable Hospital NHS Trust since 1989, specialising in head & neck tumours, voice disorders and children's ENT surgery. However, I also run a general ENT practice including nose sinus surgery in both my NHS and private practice. Since 1989, I have run a an NHS and private voice clinic along side Mrs Jenny Mount, Speech & Language Therapist.
