Mr Graham Bounds has more than 20 years experience as a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, managing a wide variety of conditions affecting the mouth, face and jaws. Mr Bounds is registered as specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine.
His registrar training was at St Thomas’s and St George’s hospitals in London and also at hospitals in Guildford and West Sussex. During his training, he visited the Maharagama Cancer Hospital in Sri Lanka, to gain experience in the management of advanced tumors of the head and neck, and the University Hospital in Nantes, France to study the management of clefts of the lip and palate.
As Chairman of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery specialty training committee for London and the South East of England Mr Bounds is responsible for organising specialty training for approximately a third of the UK’s trainees in this specialty. He is a past examiner for the fellowship examination in dental surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and as Postgraduate Tutor at Mount Vernon hospital he organises postgraduate courses for local dentists.
