Professional profile:
I qualified in Egypt in 1977, I had a fellowship for one year in the USA (1983-1984). I attended the University of South Carolina, where I started training in ultrasound scanning. I obtained a masters degree in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1984 and then MRCOG in 1991. I have been a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2004.

I undertook advanced training in ultrasound scanning at King's College Hospital between 1994-1995.

I have been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the QEII Hospital since 1996.

I provide general gynaecological services at Spire Harpenden Hospital in addition to services including early pregnancy scanning, nuchal translucency and urogynaecology.
Personal profile:
I am married with teenage twin daughters, my wife is a Vet. My interests include swimming, photography and gardening.
