Professional profile:
I have been a consultant gynaecologist at Spire Harpenden Hospital since 1985, when I established the hospital's colposcopy service for the management of abnormal cervical smears.

Colposcopic treatment options now include laser vaporisation, laser cone biopsy and loop excision diathermy (LLETZ).

My gynaecological special interests include the provision of a wide range of management options for menorrhagia including non-operative treatments as well as endometrial resection and vaginal hysterectomy, management of prolapse including non-operative options as well as pelvic floor surgery, laparoscopic surgery and menopause counselling and management.

I am also able to offer advice and treatment, or appropriate referral if necessary, for subfertlility and gynaecological urological problems.
