I am a general surgeon with a special interest in coloproctology and laparoscopic surgery. I have worked with a variety of surgeons with different surgical interests. My main higher surgical training was in the North East Thames region. I also trained in coloproctology, inflammatory bowel disease and ano-rectal functional disorders at the Royal Free Hospital in London. My training at Whipps Cross Hospital extended my experience in laparoscopic surgery, especially cholesystectomy (key-hole surgery for gall bladders) and hernia repair surgery.

At Spire Harpenden Hospital, I carry out keyhole hernia repair and keyhole gall bladder repair, together with a variety of general surgery procedures. I also carry out all forms of bowel surgery.

At Spire Bushey Hospital I offer an outpatient and inpatient service reflecting my NHS practice. I am aiming to expand laparoscopic cholecystectomy and hernia repair surgery, in addition to Pelvic Floor Disorder and Constipation management.

I am married with two boys. I am actively involved in improving standards of health education in the community. I regularly arrange talks and workshops for my local community and am willing to extend this to other communities
