Professional profile:
Training
I studied medicine at Oxford University and Kings College Hospital London and graduated in 1990. I completed higher training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Portsmouth University Hospitals and Southampton University Hospitals.

I then followed a two year subspecialty training programme in Gynaecological Oncology at St James’s Hospital in Leeds which is the largest centre in Europe for Gynaecological Cancers. I subsequently worked there as consultant Gynaecological Oncologist before moving to Hertfordshire.

Subspecialty Interests
I am an experienced cancer and laparoscopic surgeon and colposcopist. I treat endometriosis, heavy periods including endometrial ablation, polycystic ovarian syndrome and other gynaecological conditions.

I treat all gynaecological cancers including the diagnosis, assessment and surgery of new and recurrent disease. I also perform screening and preventive surgery for women at high risk of gynaecological cancers.
