I qualified at Nagpur University in India. I trained at Christian Medical College & Hospital in India and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Aberdeen. I obtained my diploma in sports and exercise medicine by an examination conducted by IABSEM. I then underwent a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship for a year, at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry.

I have an interest in teaching and I have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
