Professional profile:
I was appointed to a joint post as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Hemel Hempstead and St Mary's Hospitals Paddington in December 2004. I trained in cardiology in London, primarily at St Mary's and The Hammersmith Hospitals. Before this I worked as a junior doctor in London and East Anglia after qualifying in medicine from The University of Cambridge in 1991. My private practice is based at Spire Harpenden Hospital, but due to the lack of local facilities, some invasive coronary procedures are carried out in Central London.

I provide a comprehensive general cariology service, managing coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart rhythm problems and heart failure. Additionally, I have special interests in interventional cardiology i.e. coronary angiography and angioplasty, echocardiography and palpitations
