I have been a Consultant Paediatrician for many years. I was Clinical Director of Paediatrics and Child Health for over 10 years at QEII Hospital, Welwyn Garden City. Subsequently, I also worked for over three years at Luton and Dunstable Hospital where I did outpatient clinics which helped the trust to reduce its outpatient appointment waiting list.

My previous NHS experience prior to retiring from the NHS included epilepsy, seizure disorders, headaches, asthma, allergies/food intolerance and cardiology.

My work at Spire has included a wide range of childrens' problems as well as those in which I have a specialist interest. I do two clinics a week at Spire Harpenden Hospital on Tuesday afternoon and Friday late afternoon and evening.

Over the years I have had many letters of thanks from the parents of both my NHS and private patients.

I have two children both of whom are now pursuing their own careers. I have two young grandsons.

My outside interests include cooking, knitting, sewing, going to the theatre and exploring interesting places in the UK and abroad.
