New Cancer Care Ward at Spire Harpenden Hospital

December 2009

Spire Harpenden Hospital officially opened a new cancer care ward and additional critical care facilities on 3rd December 2009.

Former professional and international goalkeeper Bob Wilson (now Chairman of the Willow Foundation Charity) cut the ribbon. Also in attendance as special guests were the Deputy Town Mayor of Harpenden, Daniel Chichester-Miles and the Head Teacher of Roundwood Park School, Nick Daymond.
