Shoulder Pain Clinic

Patients with shoulder pain, including sporting and non-specific injury, can now benefit from a weekly physiotherapy clinic.

The clinic is led by Physiotherapy Shoulder Specialist Karen Munro and is supported by Spire orthopaedic consultants.

Following initial assessment with Karen, should onward referral for consultant assessment or diagnostic imaging be required, we can do so quickly and easily on the same day to our on-site hospital facilities.

The benefits to patients include:

  • Fast access to a one-stop service
  • Appointment with physiotherapy shoulder specialist
  • Orthopaedic opinion at the time of appointment, if required
  • Service available at Murrayfield and Shawfair Park Hospitals

The cost of an initial appointment is £59, which excludes any diagnostic tests, such as scans, X-rays or blood tests.
