Acute Knee Pain Clinic

Patients with acute knee pain, caused by skiing or running injury, for example, can now benefit from a weekly physiotherapy clinic.

Fast access to a one-stop service for knee pain

The clinic is led by Physiotherapy Knee Specialist Morag Lunn and is supported by Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons Mr John Keating and Mr Richard Nutton.

Following initial assessment with Morag, should onward referral for consultant assessment or diagnostic imaging be required, we can do so quickly and easily on the same day to our on-site hospital facilities.

The benefits to patients include:

  • Fast access to a one-stop service
  • Appointment with physiotherapy knee specialist
  • Orthopaedic opinion at the time of appointment, if required

The cost of an initial appointment is £59, which excludes any diagnostic tests, such as scans, X-rays or blood tests.
