We offer three physiotherapy clinics at which patients can seek specialist treatment for aches, pains and more serious and persistent muscular and skeletal pain:
Staffed by a highly qualified multidisciplinary team of chartered and state-registered physiotherapists and clinical practitioners
Our three sites are each staffed by a highly qualified team of chartered and state-registered physiotherapists and clinical practitioners.
We also offer patients rapid access and acute pain clinics:
The physiotherapy out-patient department, based in Beechwood House, is a stand-alone unit within the grounds of Spire Murrayfield Hospital. It comprises a spacious treatment area with 11 cubicles, a well equipped gymnasium, including Isokinetic testing, and an outdoor rehabilitation area. Physiotherapist-lead pilates classes are also available at Beechwood House.

Spire Livingston Physiotherapy Clinic offers patients physiotherapy and a specialist Back and Neck treatment programme called Active Spine Care. This 6 or 12-week programme is a comprehensive and evidence-based treatment for chronic sufferers of back and neck pain.
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital will offer general physiotherapy within its fully equipped gym and treatment rooms. Active Spine Care will also be available at Shawfair Park, making it and our Livingston Clinic the only providers in Scotland of this advanced treatment programme.
Our experts liaise closely with surgeons, radiologists, and other health care professionals to provide patients with a highly individualised treatment programme, ensuring a speedy and sustained recovery.
Our physiotherapy department also specialises in orthopaedics and sports injury, and holds a long and proud history of providing services to major local professional sports teams from both football and rugby. Our staff work with elite athletes from a variety of sports, which means our patient’s treatment and care is the best available and inline with modern approaches and rehabilitation excellence.
