Mr Stuart Oglesby graduated from the University of Dundee medical school in 1995. He then spent three years as a junior surgical trainee in Edinburgh. He returned to Dundee to undertake research and the award of an MD. Mr Oglesby's Higher Surgical Training was completed in Aberdeen. He was a Consultant with NHS GG&C before moving to NHS Fife in March 2009. His training focussed on the development of advanced laparoscopic techniques and the management of gastric and oesophageal cancer.
Since appointment as a Consultant Surgeon, his principal interests have been in the surgical management of obesity, laparoscopic management of hernias, reflux and gall bladder disease and the treatment of gastric and oesophageal malignancy.
