    I see patients with a wide spectrum of arterial and venous diseases including varicose veins, venous insufficiency, leg ulcer, aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease and lower limb ischaemia. I had extensive training in general and vascular surgery in Scotland, London and the USA. I have published widely on all aspects of vascular surgery.

    Personal profile:

    As well as a busy clinical practice, I have a major interest in surgical training. I am the convenor of a skills course for higher surgical training at the College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Away from work, I am a keen golfer and have a great passion for mountaineering.
