    My practice at Spire Murrayfield Hospital mirrors my general surgical practice at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I have a broad range of expertise within general surgery, which includes open and laparoscopic hernia repair, management of varicose veins, open and laparoscopic nephrectomy, cholecystectomy, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal surgery and a spectrum of day case surgery. Gastric, oesophageal, specialist colorectal and breast surgery is excluded from my NHS practice and I do not consult in these areas in my private practice.
