Professional profile:
I trained in Edinburgh and Exeter and was originally appointed a consultant in Inverness. In 1995 I moved to Edinburgh (Princess Margaret Rose Orthopaedic Hospital) to continue the renowned arthritis service and to provide a specialist arthroplasty service. My clinical and research interests are focussed on joint replacement, revision joint replacement (hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and elbow) and arthritis surgery in general with a special interest in patient derived outcomes.
