Background Information 
Professional profile:
I graduated from Nottingham University in 1992. My initial general surgical training was based in Sheffield and Nottingham. My specialist urological training was based in East Anglia (Addenbrookes, Cambridge, Norwich and Ipswich).

During this time I was trained in all aspects of urology and specifically in uro-oncology. I also had specific research training in molecular oncology resulting in the award of an MD degree.

I am in the process of developing Urological services in West Lothian (St John's Hospital) and have piloted Green Light Laser Prostatectomy at the Western General Hospital.
Personal profile:
My family occupies much of my time outside medicine. When time allows I play golf (member of Linlithgow Golf Club) and cricket (member of West Lothian County Cricket Club) and watch rugby (member of Linlithgow Rugby Club).
