Professional profile:
I was appointed Consultant Radiologist at St. John's Hospital, Livingston, in 1994, where I was a general radiologist in a busy district general hospital. In 1997 I was appointed consultant radiologist at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. During my time there, I developed my interest in breast radiology in both screening and symptomatic breast imaging. I have been a full-time breast radiologist for the past 11 years in one of the busiest breast units in the UK. For most of this time, I have practised at the Murrayfield Hospital, providing expert breast imaging; our services now also include MRI.

I am an active member of the Breast Group of the Royal College of Radiologists.
Personal profile:
I was born in Nottinghamshire and came to Scotland to study Medicine, quickly settling here. I have now lived in Edinburgh for over twenty years and am married with two children. When time permits, I enjoy travelling and music.
