I have been a Consultant Physician since 1994, initially at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and since 2002 at St John’s Hospital, Livingston. I trained in London and spent two years in Minnesota, North America, undertaking research in diabetes. Within the NHS, I practice general medicine, diabetes and endocrinology.
