Background Information 
Professional profile:
Born in Zimbabwe, I trained at St. Bartholomew's Medical School in London. Having graduated in 1987, I have worked in numerous hospitals in the south of England. Having completed membership of the Royal College of Physicians, I moved to Scotland to train in oncology at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre.

Further oncology training was gained at the Northern Centre for Cancer Treatment in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and I was a lecturer in Glasgow at the Beatson Oncology Centre. My first consultant post was in Glasgow specialising in breast cancer. Since 2001 I have been a Consultant in the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, specialising in chemotherapy and radiotherapy for breast cancer patients, radiotherapy for lymphoma patients and delivering the radiotherapy for children who have paediatric cancer, in the east of Scotland. My main NHS breast cancer practice is at St John's Hospital, Livingston, although I also contribute to the Edinburgh Breast Unit.
Personal profile:
I am married, living just outside Edinburgh, with three children. In the spare time I have I enjoy my friends, some exercise, my current ambition is attempting to learn to play golf.
