    Professional profile:
    I have been a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care since 1986. During this time I have provided anaesthesia and critical care services for almost all the major specialties in both public and private sectors. My current post involves General ICU, Transplantation, General Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. I am a Senior Lecturer to the University of Edinburgh.

    My research interests are in trauma management and early Critical Care. I lecture frequently nationally and internationally on these topics.

    I have a major interest in multidisciplinary training in Critical Care.
