At Spire Edinburgh Hospitals, Murrayfield and Shawfair Park, we offer a broad range of treatments and services for orthopaedic conditions.
Head, shoulders, knees and toes
And everything in between – that’s the range of our orthopaedic service. Treatment is available for the following concerns:
We also offer assessment, treatment and therapy for the hip, knee, ankle and foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Treatment can include surgery, pain management, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, including up-to-the-minute non-surgical treatments such as shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis, key hole hip arthroscopy, and Xiapex injection release for Dupuytren's.
Patients can be seen for assessment, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare at Spire Edinburgh Hospitals, including specialist physiotherapy and remobilisation.
Our two hospital sites – Murrayfield and Shawfair Park – mean that specialist consultation and orthopaedic assessment is available in convenient locations across Edinburgh.
Our on-site diagnostic imaging facilities include X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound, and enable our consultants to refer patients quickly for scanning and diagnosis.
Our physiotherapy departments at Murrayfield, Shawfair Park and Livingston Physiotherapy Clinic work closely with our orthopaedic consultants and offer a number of specialist services and clinics to support diagnosis and plan and action management and rehabilitation.
