Diagnostic imaging at Spire Edinburgh Hospitals

The worst part about being ill or injured is not knowing what’s wrong and how quickly you’ll be able to return to the activities you enjoy. At Spire Edinburgh Hospitals, Murrayfield and Shawfair Park, we can provide rapid access to state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging for all private and insured patients. Our service includes MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), CT (computerised tomography), X-ray, ultrasound and mammogram within a comprehensive hospital setting.

Speedy results from sophisticated scanning technology

Our qualified radiographers will guide you through your experience during scanning and a Consultant Radiologist will report their clinical findings to your referring Consultant or GP afterwards.

Each method of scanning is painless, non-invasive and accurate – the range of scanning capabilities across Spire Edinburgh Hospitals ensure that any body area or structure, bone, soft tissue, vein and blood vessel can be scanned to investigate and determine whether further treatment or investigation is required.

As an integrated department within our private hospital settings, help is at hand should onward referral, treatment, surgery or advice be required following the results of your scan. For more information, call Diagnostic Imaging on 0131 316 2539.
