We know that making the right decision is important, that’s why your cosmetic surgeon is with you every step of the way from the initial consultation.
Making the right decision about who conducts your procedure is important
Almost any doctor can call him or herself a cosmetic surgeon. Even letters after their name, such as FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons), don’t mean that the surgeon has specialist training or experience in performing cosmetic procedures.
At Spire Healthcare, we know that the reputation, qualifications and experience of your cosmetic surgeon is important to you. So we only work with consultant-grade cosmetic surgeons, highly experienced doctors who have completed years of training in plastic and cosmetic surgery.
Surgeon qualifications and memberships
All of our cosmetic surgeons appear on the register of the General Medical Council – they will have the letters FRCS after their name. In addition, most are members of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Most of our hospitals run open events so you can come and meet the consultants, hear them talk about their work and ask any questions you may have.
With you every step of the way
Having cosmetic surgery at a Spire Healthcare hospital means that your consultant cosmetic surgeon is with you every step of the way. You will have at least one consultation with them prior to your procedure, they will carry out the procedure and they will see you again after the procedure for a follow-up appointment.
Making the right decision about who conducts your procedure is important - our consultant surgeons can help you to achieve the look you want.
