I have been a consultant for 14 years, practicing in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery. My routine practice is the management of diseases in the mouth, jaws and neck. I also have experience in dealing with facial injuries and the treatment of long term complications.

Surgery in the mouth and jaws include wisdom teeth removal, buried dental roots and cysts or swellings in the mouth and lips. I also treat patients with salivary gland problems and other complaints in the mouth.

My special area of interest is in the management of cancers of the mouth.

In addition to clinical practice, I am an associate medical director and lead clinician in cancer services at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. I am also the assigned educational supervisor for two higher surgical trainees in the specialty. My other leadership role is the clinical governance lead in the specialty.
