Background Information 
Professional profile:
Mr Aho has established Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) as the latest form of prostate surgery at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital where they have performed more than 50 cases. He has also established HoLEP at Addenbrooke's where he has done more than 300 cases. Mr Aho was involved in early HoLEP research and worked with the urologist's in New Zealand who developed the procedure. He has continued his involvement in HoLEP research and has presented papers at a number of national and international meetings. He is also the inaugural president of the holmium user group in the UK, and has demonstrated and HoLEP and mentored other surgeons in the technique throughout the UK and abroad
As a partner in the Cambridge Urology Partnership, Mr Aho also offers a full range of urological services at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital along with colleagues Mr Nimish Shah and Mr Oliver Wiseman
