Educated at Cambridge University, basic surgical training in London and specialist orthopaedic training in East Anglia. Spent a final year in a subspecialty fellowship in hand and wrist surgery. Have undertaken a period of clinical research leading to the award of MD studying molecular mechanisms in Dupuytren’s disease. This overlaps at the cellular level with frozen shoulder, and have published research articles in this area also. Appointed at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to undertake complex upper limb trauma, shoulder and elbow surgery and further develop a clinical interest in hand and wrist surgery.
Family man. Firm commitment to East Anglia and to Cambridge in particular. Supportive of countryside pursuits. Keen to maintain links with the University both in terms of research and education.
