I was an undergraduate at Trinity Hall, Cambridge and moved on to Clinical School at Addenbrooke's. I gained specialty training at several of the major orthopaedic centres in the UK including Southampton, Birmingham, Oswestry and London. I spent a very fruitful year in Canada on a 'Joint Reconstruction and Trauma' clinical fellowship in Toronto.

I have been a consultant at Addenbrooke's since the summer of 2000. My practice combines a general trauma practice with elective adult hip and knee surgery.

My elective interests include arthroscopic knee surgery and joint replacement surgery (primary and revision) for both hip and knee. I practice 'conservative' reconstructive surgery where possible with interests in hip resurfacing and both uni-compartmental and patello-femoral knee replacements.

My specialist trauma interest is with the lower limb including pelvic and acetabular fractures.

I live near Cambridge with my family. My personal interests include skiing, snowboarding, windsurfing and travel.
