Background Information 
Professional profile:
Following a complete training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Cape Town, I came to the United Kingdom to sub-specialise in urogynaecology. I completed a training and research fellowship in Liverpool before taking up a consultant post at Hinchingbrooke in 1994. From 2002 I have been lead clinician in Urogynaecology at Addenbrooke's Hospital, University of Cambridge teaching hospital trust. I run an active clinical and laboratory research programme. I also run a busy laparoscopic practice.

I have been on the executive committee of the British Society of Urogynaecology, I'm currently on the scientific committee of the International Urogynaecology Association (IUGA).
Personal profile:

I am married with four children. I'm a keen sportsman but largely jog now and use every opportunity to go sailing.
