Professional profile:

John Crawford's current elective practice is wholly that of spinal surgery and also managing general orthopaedic trauma. His undergraduate training was at the Royal London Hospital and his general orthopaedic training was in London and Cambridge. Prior to taking up his appointment as a consultant, he spent his Spinal fellowship year at the Spinal unit in Brisbane, Australia doing both paediatric spinal surgery (Scolosis) and adult spinal surgery. He is interested in all aspects of spinal surgery including scolosis and spinal deformity in children and adults, degenerative disease of the lumbar spine and cervical spine, back pain and spinal trauma.

Personal profile:

He is married with three children (all boys) and lives in Cambridge. He enjoys many sports and in particular rugby and skiing. He also enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys going on holiday in Cornwall.
