Following training under eminent consultants at St Mary's and King's College Hospitals, London I have continued to be dedicated to two principle areas of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Firstly, I continue with specialist clinics for ultrasound imaging during pregnancy at Addenbrooke's Hospital and through Cambridge Fetal Care the latter offering nuchal translucency, 3D imaging, and detailed scanning at both the Rosie Hospital and Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital.

Secondly, I have been privileged to be part of significant developments in the management of menstrual disorders in Cambridge such that at the Cambridge Lea Hospital we can provide a range of minimally invasive treatments from microwave ablation (MEA) to advanced hysteroscopic techniques. In this way we have significantly reduced reliance on the hysterectomy procedure, although that is a choice that some women will make. Similarly, for women with other common problems of post-reproductive life such as prolapse, incontinence and menopausal symptoms there are new, effective, treatments available.

Outside of work my time is spent with my wife, a paediatrician, and my sons who are growing up all too quickly. Otherwise I am constantly striving to improve my tennis game and keep sufficiently fit to survive skiing each year.
