Mr Huget has published in the field of surgical management of colorectal liver metastases and am currently involved in assessing the value of PET scanning in the pre-op staging of these patients.

I am a Consultant Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and general surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital, where I provide tertiary referral centre HPB services as well as treatment for the common surgical Hepatobiliary conditions. I am also involved in the delivery of general surgical services at Addenbrookes and take part in the general surgery on call rota.

My specialty interest work includes treatment of liver and pancreatic malignancies as well as the management of benign biliary, hepatic and pancreatic disease.

I would like to make myself available for referrals of patients with hepatobiliary disease including gall stones, as well as the common general surgical conditions including all abdominal wall hernias, benign cutaneous lumps and ingrown toenails.

I am married and my wife, Jenny, is a GP in Cambridge. We have three children, Sam, Charlotte and Max.
My interests outside work include mountaineering and cycling. Amongst my best memories are climbing Kilimanjaro with Jenny, canyoning in the French Alps with the kids, and doing the Tour de France Etape cycling race.

I have also developed a late interest in music and am learning the piano, having achieved the dizzy musical heights of grade 2 (with distinction!).
