I perform at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital procedures and operations which I practise in the NHS service. All aspects of colorectal cancer management including colonoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic; colectomies, rectal resections. General surgical procedures including open hernia repairs (tension free - mesh), laparoscopic cholecystectomy, diagnostic laparoscopy, laparoscopic and open appendectomy and varicose veins. General colorectal work including haemorrhoidectomy (open and stapled PPH), pilonidal sinus and specialised perineal work, rectal prolapse and sphincter repair.

I had training abroad as a surgeon via American residency programme, graduating as a general surgeon in an American university medical centre. In the UK, since 1985 I had full British training as a general surgeon in London area and subspecialisation as a colorectal surgeon in colorectal units in London, including clinical assistant at St Mark's Hospital. As consultant I have and still apply my skills to high standards.

I enjoy the countryside in the UK and with my wife have raised a family of three sons. I enjoy swimming, playing tennis and more recently golf. I am involved in the processes of modernising and promoting medical education to medical students, nursing staff and the public in general.
