I trained in general orthopaedics in Cambridge, and did further sub-specialist training in foot and ankle surgery in the United States of America. My interests include hallux valgus surgery, tendon reconstruction, sports injury of the foot and ankle and ankle replacement. I am a fellow of the British and American Orthopaedic Foot Surgery societies. I am on the editorial board of the British Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.

I live in Cambridge with my family. My personal interests include skiing, sailing and France. I studied in France for 6 months, and speak 'passable' French.
