I qualified in 1984, trained in London and Cambridge and have nearly 20 years of research and clinical practice in Cambridge. I have been a consultant physician at Addenbrooke's Cambridge for over 10 years and lecturer for the University of Cambridge.

I am the lead physician for dyspepsia and dysphagia and director of the gastrointestinal motility service and irritable bowel syndrome service.

I have a particular interest in nutritional therapy for Chron's disease and extensive research and clinical experience in inflammatory bowel disease. I also have a major interest in nutritional treatment of irritable bowel disease.

I qualified in 1984, trained in London and Cambridge and have over 25 years of research and clinical practice in Cambridge. I have been a consultant physician at Addenbrooke's Cambridge for over 15 years and lecturer for the University of Cambridge.

My outside interests include sailing, fly fishing, history, rugby and travel and I am a keen hill walker.
