Professional profile:
In 1997 I was appointed as consultant dermatologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital with additional clinics at Newmarket Hospital.

I graduated from St Thomas's, London and trained as a dermatology registrar in London and as a senior registrar in Cambridge. Prior to taking up my consultant post I spent two years at Strangeways Research Laboratories, Cambridge, investigating the molecular genetics of inherited connective tissue diseases. This work culminated in an MD. I continue to see both regional and supraregional referrals for patients with these disorders.
